Where to begin?
These 1:12 scale ghillie cloaks are VERY high quality, made of a hard to find and expensive fabric that is now believed to be discontinued.
the price is $25 each plus shipping($5) for one, or $50 shipping included for two. :)
happy to work out deals on multiples!
the color deco of each ghillie cloak is applied EXTREMELY cautiously with an airbrush.
If the air compressor is turned up too high, it will flatten the “hairs” entirely.
Another tedious thing about them, is that the paint has to be mixed to the perfect consistency, or else these simply will not work.
If it’s too thin, it beads up on the “hairs” and doesn’t look right……If the paint is too thick, the airbrush will continuously clog and spatter paint drops over the cloak(s), ruining such an epic creation!
The fabric is originally black, which makes it very difficult and time consuming to layer the lighter colors to out-do the black base.
Currently, the two color options we have available are:
1. “Forest Green”
2. “scorched earth” dark tan.
More color options coming VERY soon! :)
both of these colors are achieved with a custom mix of Vallejo and other high quality acrylic paints, ensuring the paint job will last you a long while!
if you have any questions, or would like to request one in a specific color, please send us a message here, or on our Facebook page at JCC-Josh’s Custom Capes.
